A brief history of the origin of the name that identifies the inflammatory bowel disease called crohns.
In the early 1930′s a doctor named Burrill Bernard Crohn along with two other scientist made public an important document about the characteristics of a then fairly unknown disease. Fourteen cases with the characteristics that has carried the name crohns disease, it is also known by it’s medical name Regional Ileitis.
I’m taking into consideration that the spelling of the word crohns my be different in other parts of the world.

My name is Gerald Boykin and I am a former crohns disease and ulcerative colitis suffer.
