Crohns Help? A Crohns diet!
Searching the internet, you can find many diets people say is for crohns victims,
Are they for real? Don’t know. . If they are just for crohns, Then I think those people have a mis-conception as to what crohns is. Crohns disease is not a disease at all, it is a symptom of a greater problem.
All of the diets I’ve seen, Ulcerative Colitis diets,IBD, IBS, and some Crohns diets are bacically working on the same principle, and I must admit that some of them work for awhile, but most don’t get at the root of the problem. The root problem could be acid, or the lack of acid which would invite unfriendly bacteria and viruses to take up residence in the colon or intestines, but what I have found to be a significant part of the the root problem of many ibd, crohns, and uc sufferers is the combining of the wrong foods.
Are you aware that different foods require different modes of digestion? Some foods require hydrochloric acid while other require enzymes. Did you know that our standard American diet, for many of us is a disaster ready to happen and for many of us crohns, uc, ibd, ibs sufferers it has manifested itself with a vengence.
There are roughly one million ibd sufferers in the U.S. The antacid industry pulls in about 3 billion a year on over the counter antacids, and we spend another 13 billion on prescription acid reducing drugs. Many health experts are warning about the dangers of long term antacid use because they can do much damage to your health!
In a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association ( JAMA ) 500,000 patients were studied, and researchers concluded that antacids actually make your digestive system more susceptible to unfriendly bacteria and viruses, not only that but they also found that people who were taking acid suppressing drugs were 4-5 times more likely to contract pneumonia than
those who were not.
Has your plight been eating the wrong combination of foods and feeling pain, gerd, bloating stomach, gas and then popping an antacid for relief? Gaining weight, not having a bowel movement for days, or having constant diarrhea?
Have you been diagnosed with crohns, uc, or other ibd?
Well, as a former crohns sufferer, I found relief in a couple of days with this crohns diet, others have gotten relief the very first day. After going the medical route with the prescription drugs that for me only made my symptoms worse, and made me a canidate for surgery, I had to find an alternative. About 50% of those who opt in for surgery have a relapse. If you’re tired of the pain and embarrassment of an ibd, you may find relief here. Click on the banner below for a crohns diet that works
